I just want an idea. I have no idea what I want to do with my life but I know I want to work with animals. I have never been good at science so being a vet or vet tech aren t really what I am looking for. I have grown up with a lot of animals, even exotic ones since my mother had a license to breed sugar gliders. I want to start a pet store sometime in my life. I just don t know if I would need college behind me or what. I am currently a full time student at a community college. I know I want a lot more experience with animals before I start a business. I already know a ton about owning your own business because my parents have owned a family restaurant my whole life and I have helped with all of the behind the scenes things. The absolute best way is to go get a job with an existing business in this line, even if only part time. You can earn while you learn, and you get to see almost everything it will take. You will also be exposed to many of the downsides to the business, which you would probably not know about just resarching online and you need to know about these.

first off you need to be able to get a liquor license...those cost about $2500.00 or more...so look up your state laws to see what you need..besides a license, a store, shelving, liquor ( a distributor ), all the other stuff, food, mixers, etc...
