Goa is reach of fruits, coconut, spices etc. Many of the raw materials you can import from Karnataka and Maharashtra. If you have low budget, then Goa is the best place in India to start the business here.I request you that please do not observe the Goa through liquor glass. Temp is set to 70 in the winter and it always feels as if the a/c is on. They will not turn the heat up after serveral requests from pretty much all my coworkers. I am trying to start a online bussiness just like other people but i carnt find a wholesaler at all, i would like to sell eletrical items such as: DVDs,Games, HDMI cables etc.... But i carnt find any wholesalers. is it best to look online or go into a wholesale shop and buy it that way, if so where are wholesale shops, in the UK.Thanks Oliver

Difficult question.. If you are going in business about certain items (You supposed to have at least good knowledge about the items you will sell.. means wholesale prices, profit margins, second grades.. and fake/ frudulnt items specially in electrical items ).. You have to do little homework.. and start looking for wholesale stores in UK.. and it should be wholesale stores (Not to public wholesale if you know what i mean).. You can go online.. but 50-80% online wholesalers and sites of your merchandise would be scams or fake items, and you might fall in some problems.. other good idea.. try to buy your items from stores in your area (Big stores , etc...).. you can go even for DVD S and games stores, and ask about the managers / the owners for small businesses.. and you could ask for deals on closeouts items, or items offered for sale there.. Advice in that you should get at least 30-50% of their sale price their (I mean their sale items and close outs).. Example: DVD sell regularly for $20.00 ... then it s closeout or sale price should be $5.00-$10.00 .. when you try to buy this closeout items (You will buy them in lot).. the price you get them should be from $1.00-$4.00 / piece.. You can try that for a while until you get more used and experienced in what you sell and what people will want and what is hot items .. plus you will not lose much money if the market was not as what you expected..
