How much money would i need to start my own consignment shop? -

i wanted to own a plato s closet but you need $290,000 to start. and if im going to invest alot of money into a business, i would rather be in complete control of it. how much money would i need to save up?

You should visit The Small Business Administration (http://www.sba.gov/). This site will be your go-to site for understanding what is needed to start your own business. They provide instructions, guidelines and resources to get your business up and running.I know the thought of opening up a consignment shop may be in its very early stages, but you may want to check out or bookmark this site, http://www.l-trondirect.com/ once you get it up and running. My friend recently opened up a small retail store in town and he was looking for barcode scanners to track his inventory and purchasing point-of-purchase equipment, like those electronic signature pads you find at many stores near the checkout. This site was a huge help when it came to equipping the store to manage the product sold, capturing payment methods of his customers and whatnot. You may find this site useful in time.Best of luck to you!

Do I need a bank account when I start my first job? -

I just got a job at k-mart which is my first job, and I have to go to an in-store induction. Do I need to set up my own bank account before hand? Or do they set up a bank account for me? I m really confused!

Normally big companies advise employees to open an account with their bank. So you may also get similar advise. That makes the company to manage their account comfortably. If you don t get similar advise you should open a fresh account with a bank that you find yourself comfortable.

oh yar. they will manage for u. if you are on roll on that job but u r off roll empolyee then its ok.n if u havent bank account then set up by own also in any bank on which u have trust n convinean for u.n best luck for job.

No dear, when I had my first job I did not have a penny on the bank. After they pay you, then open an account.

What would you like to ask?can any one give me a good bussiness to start its a high school poject hta am doing? -

i have 150,000 dollard to start the business

Yes. You are going to open a night club. You pay $900 a month to rent a building. You hire a bartender, bouncer, and a manager. You hire a bank for $200 a night. Then you run some ads. You have to pay for liquor from a supplier. You charge money at the door. You can make up numbers for every charge and for your income.

Where can i get professional makeup wholesale? -

i want to start my own makeup business but not sure how to get them ib=n bulk so i can sell

Have you considered signing up as an independent rep/distributor/consultant with one of the many companies that use independent sales reps to market their products? Reps/Distributors/Consultants buy the products at wholesale prices and sell to customers at the retail price. Here s a list of some of the cosmetic companies that I can think of off of the top of my head that use independent reps:Mary KayBeauticontrolMia BellaArbonneJafraI ve attached links to the company websites if you want more info. i m sure you can find other companies, too.good luck

Do you think there is still a market for internet cafes? -

I want to start an internet cafe. There is not one internet cafe in my town. There are coffee houses, but no internet cafes. With all the coffee houses and other places providing free wi-fi and the price of lap tops going down in price, do you think there is a real market for internet cafes in todays marketplace?

With the way technology is today I don t think so. You can get a wireless connection from your local cell phone company so you really don t need to go to a cafe.Sorry but I think internet cafes are a thing of the past.

If i order something from a street retailer and pay for it is that all i should pay? -

I recently bought a product (its a towbar wiring kit) from a local business for 45 the chap gave me the price after looking it up in his supplier catalogue, and told me how much and that he had to order it and would take a couple of days, this was tuesday, one of his collegues rang me today and told me that the product had been out of stock with the supplier but they have rung to say it is in stock again, she happened to ask the price and the supplier has told her a new price to what i was quoted, some 20 dearer, she has then rung me to tell me if i still want it its going to cost me another 20 - surely this isn t my problem and its up to them to check the pricing before taking my money isn t it? i was given a receipt and a card receipt both stamped paid, when i ordered it.

If you have paid in full and you have been given a receipt then you have a contract with them and they must supply the goods at that price. They should not have taken any money from you until the item was in stock. If you had not have payed it was within their rights to ask for more money or withdraw the item from sale.

Can a contractor change a written agree without asking the customer? -

We went over thoroughly with a paving contractor what we want and can afford. The contract specifically states what we agreed to have done and pay for.The morning the contractor s employees arrived, we walked through the enitre agreement again. He showed us where the tar will end and only millet be used for the actual driveway.Half way through the day, they were still doing what the written contract clearly shows. One employee showed me where the tar will be put and end as I was walking to my car to leave for work.Three hours later I recieved a phone call from my son stating the owner came to the house when it was done. He demanded twice the sum from my daughter-in-law. Using intimidation she demanded she pay $8000.00 instead of the agreed $4200.00 (both sums were in addition to the $800 put down.). When my daugher-in-law refused to write a new check for the amount he wanted, he demanded she sign an agreement to make monthly payments for the additional amount. My daughter-in-law put my son on the phone and the contractor threatened to come back and tear up the drive way. We are afraid he is going to make it unable and harmful to our tires. We had down a tarred skirt leading into the road. and stone base. The contractor obviously told his workers to pave the entire driveway after we left and now wants is to pay for it or he is going to ruin our property. He did take the $4200 agreed on and cased it.What can we do to make sure he does not ruin our drive way for spite?

Do you have a copy of the written and signed contract??? then if you do. you are covered ... inform the police or a lawyer of the intended threat by the contractor and you should be right. having a camera ready would be handy ... just in case some one was home if he tries to do damage....

Call the police.
