I work for Aflac and am running into dead-ends with businesses. Any ideas of places to try? -

I work for Aflac and have tried tons of small businesses. I was just wondering if anyone has any suggestions on places to try that may have worked for them in the past that I may not have tried yet? Any ideas would help! I have mainly tried all types of small businesses but wasn t sure if anyone had some ideas of places that I may not have thought of yet.Thanks-

AFLAC is a ripoff. Most of the money goes for commissions and profits. The policy holder get very little back.

Running into dead-ends--a lot of them--is what sales is all about. You have to go through a LOT of no s to get to one yes. You should be contacting a minimum of 20 businesses a day. Do that every day, every week, without fail. In addition, join a networking group (BNI is great) and talk to everyone you know about what you do. Rome wasn t built in a day, and you don t become a good salesperson overnight. It takes a long time and a lot of practice. People come into Aflac expecting it to be easy and it isn t. It is NOT, however, a ripoff as someone else here wrote. I ve worked for them for a long time and they are an excellent company. Anyone who has had a bad experience with Aflac is the exception, and usually it s because they didn t know what they were buying, or didn t read their policy, or finally, they had an issue and didn t have an agent to assist them.Good luck; it s not easy, but if you re cut out for sales, it is a great company to work for.

Might want to try contacting the various National or Local Associations Maybe they can promote it for you through their membership or you can advertise in their newsletter if they have one.
