You are not entitled to tips.You should simply wish them a Merry Christmas.
Do a general looking card. Say: Thanks to all of my loyal customers and I really appreciate all of your tips. If things keep going like this it will really help with buying my first car/going on a school trip/college/whatever. I am looking forward to another happy year.Something like that might help the non tippers realize they overlooked you. they wont know what is on their neighbors cards so if you want to specifically thank the tippers you can. What are they going to do, go over to the tipping neighbors and explain how cheap they are and want to know what their card said?
People don t tip newspaper carriers too often. Especially now, when times are harder for a lot of people.I agree with the person who said that tipping has gotten out of hand. I tip servers and pizza delivery people - I don t tip at the places where they just have a tip jar set up on the counter, but I have to get my own drink, my own napkins, get back in line if I want something else, etc. I don t get it.
i think the custom off tipping is completely out of hand. people pay for what they get.. i just don t see the reason to tip someone for what they are paid to do.
