Who usually gets the original copy of the receipt? -

I am selling a car and want to know who gets the original copy of the receipt? Me or the buyer?

I would say you both do. Yes you both do.Both copies have -original signatures -right?Then both are considered originals by law.Buy a house and you will have maybe 5,6,or more originals That is if you both sign each copy!

The buyer always gets the original.
