What degrees would be helpful to have when starting a coffee shop business? -

I am thinking about opening my own coffee shop, but I don t know what to pursue in college to make it to my benefit...any advice?

Frankly there is no degree to be a successful entrepreneur. You will need a strong work ethic, start up capital and some practical knowledge. Take some basic accounting or bookkeeping courses. Some courses on real estate law, leasing and general computer software might be useful.Get a job at a coffee house and learn everything there is that makes it work. If you can, find a job at a successful independent shop instead of Starbucks. Take your time. Learn how to manage the shop. Do the books. Keep current on the best registers and software.Good luck.
