I suspect that you missed the final click whiile listing as when I sell, I get an email immediately saying the my item is listed. If you are sure it is not there then I think you will have to put it on again, make sure you click every icon required.There is a box which asks when you want it listed - are you sure that you did not click on that and put in a number?
just wait another day because they do say that your item may not be visible straight away. If not contact ebay, they are very helpful and so will be able to tell you what is happening.
I would contact ebay to make sure it is posted correctly. Perhaps a step was missed or computer gliche...
