Is Buying brand product from China and sell them on Ebay a counterfeit crime? -

HiI am planning to try this business to support myself;I want to buy shoes, lets say Coach from China and re sell them in the US;is this practise a crime? Can the custom come to my house or is there any crime risk involved with this business?thank you

If the shoes are made by Coach (in China) and you have authorization from Coach to sell them, it s not a crime.If the shoes, say Coach but aren t made by Coach, they are counterfeit and it would be illegal to sell them.

You need to go to your County Court house and find out who to talk to . If you are a legal citizen of America and have a license for your business and insurance on your place of business I believe it s OK, but again If you don t have a business license you need to purchase one at the Court House. You also need to keep track of every thing you sell and put the tax money away in your bank because if you earn too much you will need to report this and pay in taxes.
