Some Advantages - There will be a supply of trained staff. Customers will already go to that area for the items sold (Antique shops are a good example - the more in an area the more customers go there) Some Disadvantages- Difficult to take satisfied customers from established businesses. The new business will have to offer a unique selling point to stand out in a crowd. Dilutes the market - more outlets-the same amount of spending to go round.Just a few thoughts.
