Check the internet for rates. If you are more comfortable knowing your banker personally, go to the bank where you have a checking/savings account. Also check with local banks (versus national banks) as they frequently have better rates and lower fees than the big banks.Your ability to get the loan will be a function of:1 - your credit/FICO score,2- your income as a representation of ability to repay,3. your debt/equity ratio.
