You re okay ( probably ) if all you want is for them to take orders, BUT, if a customer asks a question you want the call center to be able to give a correct answer, all the possible questions must be written down, along with the correct canned answer you want given. Gets really sticky then, because the people at the call center must not only be able to understand the question, but must be able to relate to the canned list you gave them.....
Hello Linda,The answer is NO I have been in business for over 10 years and i have seen plenty of business trends. One trend is most businesses are getting away from offshore call centers. This can actually hurt your business. Do not think for one minute that someone from the USA wants to buy products/services from someone outside the USA, especially these days. I understand the cost difference and just like anything else, you get what you pay for. I always say, be thrifty but do not cut corners in business. So what is the solution? Get entry level people to work for you part time, train them, let them work either in the office or from home using Hosted VoIP PBX technology. My VoIP provider www.TheVoipCo.com for all types of call center applications and remote workers. They do actually offer call center services (USA based). Do not confuse this technology with Vonage or Magicjack. They are terrible and do not offer the technology i am talking about. Give these guys a call you wont be sorry.Anyway, you should grow your business telephone sales team organically. Your potential customer do not want to buy things from India, trust me...Good Luck!
