Hi!There are two ways to find out what is selling well on eBay:1) Check out the popular searches and most popular products on eBay:Popular searches: http://keyword-index.ebay.com/keyword-inBest selling products: http://product-index.ebay.com/best_sellieBay pulse: http://pulse.ebay.com/2) Perform completed listings searches for products or brand names to see the conversion rate and average selling price. To do this, simply click the Advanced Search button next to the main eBay search box. Enter your search keywords, and then check the Completed Listings box. This will bring up the historical data for the previous 30 days. Successful items are in green; unsuccessful items are in red.To add, you may check out eBay s Want It Now page and see what people are looking for with less seller responses. Stick with those with high demands and low supply.Since you have already sold some items on eBay, you should now have an idea of what sells well or at least which among your stuff will sell quicker or at a higher bid price than others. You can go ahead and sell more of those. Skin care/make up and books are good niche markets that you can explore more. Selling stuff from home that you no longer use is a good way of finding other great niche markets. It is a good idea to find a niche market if you intend to sell more and make a good profit out of your eBay store. To check for viability, the very basic thing that you can do is check your competition. Have a look at how they sell their products, their prices, and if they are getting bids. Have a look at their feedback history and see if they have sold those products before, how many were sold, what about the end price? You can then focus on enhancing your listing making it more attractive to potential buyers. Starting your auction with a more competitive price and using great pictures are just two of the many excellent ways of enhancing your listing.
