How can i sell glass pipes legally in new jersey or as a business? -

I am a glass blower and want to sell glass tobacco pipes here in New Jersey for some extra cash while I attend Rutgers. I was thinking to either sell them to shops exclusively, sell them in a flea market type setting, or even just to people on the street. What laws are out there that I should be aware of and what are some ways around them, such as required terminology use and business licensing?

Whether you can get away with it depends both on state law and enforcement. Ordinary scientific glass workers have been forced out of Texas where I live by harassment over buying supplies also used by bong makers. As for business, you have to collect and turn into state sales taxes. If you use a business name other than your own as a sole proprietor, you have to register a Doing Business As name. Down here it done with the county. I think you need to visit some head shops and ask about their needs and see what the competition is putting out as well as getting clues as to harassment level.
