Is pulse management modeling a scam? -

I was approached in a mall the other day by a pulse management elite modeling new faces scout and she told me I was amazing and tall and would be perfect for their modeling agency. They are having open calls apparently in december, so she took my name and number, and I took all the information. It all seemed pretty legit.I am just wondering if it is legit? is it costly? and is it a good idea to do? btw, im sixteen and my mom knows about it too.

You don t mention your city and if you do a google search there are several different agencies with that name across the country, some of whom are called scams or even have had police reports and lawsuits filed against them:http://www.easybackgroundcheck.com/pulsehttp://www.azcentral.com/12news/consumerhttp://www.ripoffreport.com/con-artists/http://www.ripoffreport.com/Modeling-AgeSo do your research to make sure its not the same agency as any of those mentioned above. If it s a different agency, go with a parent but if they try to ask you to pay even $1 out of your own pocket - registration fees, portfolio shoots, website listings, showcases, monthly fees, classes or anything else - then find another agency as that is not legit. An agency should only ever make money through commissions - they take 15-20% of any job they book you on. That s it. Anything else is not how a legitimate agency operates

Hey I went to one on december 5th in Portland. I was excepted. I think its a scam I have many friends in da modeling industry who say he takes your money and run. if you went to the same one I am Serenity the hippie Stacey is a buissness man and a damn good one.
