I would like to run an ad for computer repair to make extra money. Is it legal without a liscense? -

I m fifteen years old and I work in a kitchen at a club, obviously since school is back in session my hours have been cut, I really need the money, and I m very good with computers (both hardware and software). I would like to run an ad for computer repair to make some extra cash. My grandmother is concerned of the legality of this without a business license. If it is important I am a resident of Alabama.

If you do this as a part time endeavor to make extra money, it is not considered a business. (Like babysitting) Do not repair any Computers at your house/home. Do not charge a fee but explain that you would appreciate donations. Most professionals are earning 25/75 hour in the Big City, but you can afford to help your clients for your states average hourly wage. (7-10 an hour) Start w/tutor help and web design if that s what you can do and or upgrades to computers.

Seeing as it isn t an actual business I don t believe you need one.*****, anyway
