a friend of mine wants to open a hookah bar soon and wants to know if its a good investment at the moment. what does everyone think?

It depends on how ridiculous smoking bans become in the coming years. Just make sure your friend has a good CPA and a small business attorney. There is a lot of money and red tape involved in opening any type of establishment that sells alcohol and/or tobacco.
