Well, depends on how much feedback you have on ebay. if you have over 100 feedback, you can list it as a buy it now at a very good price with immediate payment required, sell it fast and have the cash in your bank accout in 3 or 4 days. However, if you have less than 10 feedbacks, you would have to put it as an auction and wait for the auction to end and for the buyer to pay you and then you have to wait 3 or 4 days for the funds to transfer to your bank account. And then there is the matter of Paypal s 21 day holds for newer sellers in high-risk categories. And electronics is a high-risk category. Paypal might hold your money for up to 21 days or until the buyer leaves positive feedback. In some cases, they will release it after the merchandise has arrived. Now, on to Craigslist. My advice if you want to do it, better to get a location for a retail store to direct customers. If you decide to go for a regular retail store.. it will Depends on your location first.. (High traffic location is a must for clothing business).. what will be your specialty ?? adult / females/ males/ or everything ??.. it will cost you alot much if you get everything at once as a start.. and you would not have the nice variety for each devision you want ..If you look for specialty first , as women clothes, or men, or kids, it would be better to concentrate and make good name for your start, with less money damage if it turns out to be something else. plus the rest of the other money you would save for back-up plan, advertisment, etc....there is many places.. yet the quality, and the shipping prices will make the difference.. what you will need to think before start :-1- Location, Location, Location.............. high traffic with $5,000.00 better than away location with $1,000.00 rent, etc... 2- what will be your basic main customers ?? Part of deciding what to do to earn extra cash depends on what you re interested in. For example if you like to write, providing SEO articles might be a possibility. If you enjoy crafts, maybe you can do something along those lines.A quick, easy way to make a few quick dollars might be to sell excess things you have around the house on eBay. Take a look on eBay to see how similar items are listed and what they re selling for. Then you can sell similar items. Once you get the hang of eBay, you can sell your own items (such as crafts you make) or items you pick up locally from yard sales and similar.Another approach would be to check out books on Amazon. Go to Amazon.com and search for books on part-time income opportunities or part-time businesses or spare time income . Amazon let s you search the table of contents and index of the books so you ll be able to find a whole list of extra cash generators (and probably many that you never thought of). The great thing about the internet is that it doesn t matter how big or small your town is ;)I ve from 5 yrs of research that there are a lot of good solutions for anyone to stay at home and earn extra money, but the most important thing is finding something that you are passionate about. Otherwise you will lose interest and give up on what you re doing which will put you back at step 1. I know there are a lot of scams out there so be careful! Don��t listen to the people though who say they are ALL scams. They are not actually ALL scams, just a lot of them are! LOL! Things I look for in a business are free or low cost to join, free or low cost to run, some level of training and/or support, a website or information on how to create one, and a simple duplicatable business success system. The company and people should support and train you because when you make money they make money. I really like businesses that can be run part time, from home, and online.
I do some part time online work, its really boring and the only thing that convinced me it wasn t a scam was the fact that it didn t ask for any more information than an email, name and address. No credit/debit or bank account information needed.I m not going to tell you will make enough to live off of though some members do I make around 20-50 dollars a month.
