It just shows the times you clock in and out. You don t have to keep them. I worked at a place where we had these. Most people throw them away.The place I worked at the manager went in and checked the time at the end of the week and sent it in to head quarters. He could change times if he wanted to (and sometimes did). I would keep them until I got the pay check for that period and then as long as everything is ok throw them away.If you have it printed out in your hand that you clocked in at 2:00 then it can t be changed to 2:30 later. If it is you have proof that you really were there at 2:00. I always kept mine and then stapled them to the check stub when I got paid. Everybody is different. But to answer your question- NO you do not have to keep them. I just think it is a good idea to do so.Better to have them if there is a problem with the hours on your check.

Time clock receipts at work? -
i just started work at mcdonalds and ive never had a time clock receipt before. i asked my coworker what they were for and he didnt seem to have an answer.so what are they for? do i need to keep them?
