You would be below these big survey sites, and they would pay you even less than the big companies pay them. Basically, the big survey sites are the middle man here and unless you can become as popular as they are, there s no way you can compete. However, you can still make money. Lets say a big company will pay $10 for every person who the big survey companies (the people who actually make the surveys) can get to take a survey. Without your parents support and approval you could end up losing more money than earning. I would encourage you to do research because it s alot easier to spend money than it is to earn it. Check out the book Fast Cash for Kids by Bonnie Noel Drew (library) to show that your intent is more than just a phase. The library is an awesome start as you learn about accounting, marketing, taxes, and everything else that goes with having a legal business. Another book to read is The Richest Kids in America by Mark Vincent Hansen. You can get this from the library also. Did you know there are teens and tweens literally making millions of dollars? You could be one of them but be upfront and mature with what you re doing. Hiding things from your folks is neither.

What is best marketing technique for new small business without an office or retail location? -

Our company is based off of a guerilla business model, which has us starting out with having our office based out of an apartment for the time being. Because we don t have a physical location such as in a mall strip or office park, we cannot present ourselves with a place where clients can do walk-ins. We are strictly by appointment, but we want to generate steady traffic as a retail location might do. That s what I do to fill in the time. As with any work from home enterprises there IS a catch...that is the pay is a bit measely and training can take 2-4 weeks (I got mine done in 2 weeks though because I had no life lol).Anyways, it s free to apply to be a Cha cha guide or kgb_ special agent and if they hire you then you do the training and then you can start working. How it works once you re hired and trained is you get on your computer (you MUST have firefox and high speed internet) and log into either the Cha Cha universe or the kgb_ knowledge generator and text messages will be routed to you, you research them and then send the answer. it s pretty easy, since Cha Cha/kgb take care of the actual logistics of getting the answer back to the customers phone. You basically just type and answer in a box and hit send I prefer kgb_ to Cha Cha. Chacha is a bit a joke sometimes because it s free and they make their money from advertisments, but kgb_ is actually $0.99 per answer, so theres more pressure to actually have correct answers so customers get their money s worth. Now for the catch...the pay. It s not amazing. If you don t type fast, you probably won t make more than $100 per month (although top earners earn several thousand, so obviously there is potential). WARNING LONG POST i am experienced thoughno not all PTC sites are scams all though most are and im talking about 75-80% of them are scams another 10% simply can not sustain there selves and go out of business but that last 10% that is what everyone is looking for and desiring to be a member of. I ve recently set up a part time, business. I sell items on ebay do carpentry joinery on weekends etc. I ve recently purchased a ledger. You need to keep a ledger (or cash book as they are more often called) for both businesses - you cannot get the two mixed up as they are different.You could head the sections on the income side: date, name of client/customer or item sold, whether cash or cheque, then total.On the expenditure side you need to make your headings: date, description, cheque no, total and then analyse across with headings such as purchases, materials, travel, packaging, - whatever works for the businesses. Total each collumn at the end of every month and reconcile to the bank accounts. Thsi will make it easier for your accountant at the end of the year.You need to keep all paperwork for all income and expenditure - invoices and recipts, paypal statements and bank statements.
