Define e-business and e-commerce. How are they similar? How do they differ? Can the two terms be used interchangeably?

to me E-commerce is a company started with the sole directive which is to sell something on the web.an E-business is a company that is found on the web that makes, manufactures and or assists in the putting together or fabricating a product or a part of a product that any one of thousands of other companies can use for assisting in ways that some companies don t want to invest in the equipment, employees or the training to bring this expertise in house. So they sub contract aspects of the finished goods.
