You don t have to as most major cities have vocational colleges that have culinary training programs. However, if you are just starting in your career and you can get a degree from Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park or San Francisco you are going to earn more at least starting out. Where to learn in the US. for bakery jobs..? -
hey guys i wanted to ask if anyone knew where i can go and learn about baking / pastry chef stuff..im 19 .. ill go to school for 2 years next year .. i live in virginia..and i wanted to know..where i can find a nice job at a bakery or a hotel or anywhere...good money and good expereience...i don t seem to find so much in virginia.. like a really nice bakery to learn in so...kind of like an intern...can anyone help me out??do i have to go to those famous places in like LA or newyork??dun u think iz gonna be too expensive?? ill fail living before ican learn anything ... NO?
