Nope - you will have no legal recourse. Face it - they are going to scam you. Either the company or the so-called transporter . THEY will have your money - meanwhile you get nothing. So back away from that plan. Maybe Paypal could do something about it - if you care to wait like a year and a half . . .

Charge back or money back if i get scammed? -
ok so i am planning to buy an item from japan that costs 1000 dollars. the problem is that they dont sell the item outside of japan, so i am buying it from a transporter, that is someone who you send money to , to buy the item you want and send it to you. So if i send him 1000 dollars through paypal and he scams me, will i get my money back if i report it?
