Yes. You must still register with the federal government and get an EIN. After that you need to register with your state to get a sales tax permit. You need to pay sales tax on any in state purchases, and pay income and social security on any income you receive. The government doesn t care where you get your products from, only that you pay the proper taxes on anything sold.
