Anyone know a good website to sell all of my books/text books? -

I went to a few websites that sell used books and textbooks. However, all of my books are no longer being sold (as they tell me) and none of these websites want to buy my books. Does anybody know a website that will literally sell all books no questions asked and scam free? I really need to get rid of these, and donating will be my last plan if all else fails.

You could try http://www.half.ebay.com/, or you can use http://bookscouter.com/. Book Scouter finds the website that will buy your book immediately at the highest price. I use both of these websites but I usually find that the websites through Book Scouter are only willing to pay about 1/2 of what you could get using half.com. Another way to sell books is at your college campus bookstore, just make sure that the books that you want to sell them are the ones that they are currently selling to students otherwise they will probably not take them. You could also post ads for your books around the campus (with permission from the college first). Good luck!

The first step you need to think about, Is my business successful?If it s a stable business and bringing in a main income then, why not? It might be a good idea!But before you think about moving it to LA, you need to get to know the area where you want to move your coffee shop. You will need to check if there are any coffee shops and how successful they are. There is no point in moving your coffee shop to an area that allready has a lot of coffee shops that are doing very well. It also depends how many people are working for you, as this might be an added bonus, in advertising as the more people you are employing the more business you will be able to attract. It will be an expensive move, but it depends more where your coffee shop is at the moment. Alright, i have decided to open an equine shop. I am going to be starting small, and then expanding when it picks up. I will be opening it near Jacksonville MD, which is close to Towson. There is already one small equine shop in the area where i am hoping to open it, but they dont offer anything western, and they dont have a very good selection. It is a heavily horse populated area. I do, however, need a name for the shop!! any ideas? i want something catchy, but nothing too...plain, you know? One equine shop in PA near where i used to live was called Puddle Duck Creek.....and i DONT want something like that.? it doesn t really have anything to do with horses... what are you suggestions? also, any other ideas/advice would be greatly appreciated!! thanks!!

What do you want your business name to say about your business? Don t restrict it so much that you can t expand or diversify in the future. Once I talked to a woman who named her shop Linda s Candles. It was four years later and less than one-fourth of her store had candles in it! She regretted naming it that, but renaming a business is VERY expensive. 2. Pick a name that your customers will remember, but don t use other businesses names. Don t use Ponies R Us or anything. Don t get too cutesy! People need to take you serious. Remember you can get sued if you use another business name3. You look them (whomever them is that offered you pay) right directly in their eye and say when can I expect my first check? the conversation should be directed into every direction by you. After their answer you either quit and walk away if you don t like the answer or you again look them in the eye and tell them how much you want and how often. Then it is their time to quit and walk away or you will negotiate how much and how often. You are the one they want you are teaching training and you have costs involved as well. Add gas, hours, equipment, laundry and drive time to and fro and give them a cost per practice for a two hour practice three days a week and offer a free no charge 3 hour practice on non competition Saturdays. Always be prepared to give something, in order to get what you want in trade.
