If it isn t absolutely required, skip it for now.But, having some liability insurance is a must. It will protect you against claims of damage and theft. These are usually false claims, but it s better to have the insurance company deal with than you. The price varies, so call a lot of insurance agencies and get quotes. Start with the lowest amount available, or that you are comfortable with. The agent can help you. I would recommend the areas around Denver and Colorado Springs CO. There are some wonderful mountain towns very near Colorado Springs. One that I especially love is Woodland Park, CO or Divide, CO...or Manitou Springs CO. They are all just slightly to the west of Colorado Springs (like 10 minutes) and right at the foothills of Pikes Peak and the Rockies. Gorgeous scenery and Colorado Springs is a nice city with job opportunities. Of course, Denver is larger so probably more jobs. It s about an hour north of Colorado Springs.
