Does ebay take a payment before you sell an item? -

I am hoping to sell something on ebay but am havng a problem was hoping if someone can give me some advicewhere it says Pay seller fees with a credit or debit cardI cant do it everytime i put my card details on it says The following must be corrected before continuing:?Credit or debit card - Your card could not be authorised. Please re-enter your card number, card identification and expiry date. what should i do please help some helpful advice please

What you should do is enter your credit card or debit card information. Are you providing a valid card?Ebay requires the information before you sell so that you don t sell your item and cheat ebay out of the fees.I hope this helps.Gary

U need a valid form of payment of seller fees on file with eBay before u start selling. U can add a checking acct, a credit card, ur Paypal acct with a checking acct added.Get a valid credit card and don t use an old one or a stolen one. And verify that all the info is correct before continuing.

Are you trying to set up a seller account on EBAY or Paypal? It sounds like you have a credit or debit card problem. You can use your bank account.

Sort out the credit card issue with your credit card provider.
