Good and free are going to be tough to come by. If you are selling physical items you can look at setting up an Amazon store ($60/month +7%). You can also look at products such as 1shoppingcart.com or nanacast.com though they all come with a monthly fee. Ebay also offers a store front.If you are looking for free, you may want to review what Paypal offers. It will probably be more difficult to set up than one with a fee but the low start up cost is nice.If you want to start with Paypal, I would suggest putting just a few items up and seeing how it goes. Make sure everything works well. Walk through the purchase process all the way to the end to make sure the money flows the way it is supposed too.http://www.zen-cart.com/ is another one that is free and works with Paypal. I have not used it but heard good things about it.I am sure there are a lot more out there but this should get your started. Make a spreadsheet and review each one. Actually i believe paypal offers a shopping cart system. Depending on how much web design knowledge you have you can create buy buttons or actually have a fully functioning internal shopping cart that accepts payments through PayPal without the customer ever even knowing who handles your credit card transactions.Also coffee cup offers a shopping cart creater that i believe requires almost no knowledge of how it works...
