Is it wise to set up a sewing buisness in this crisis? -

Ten points best answer, I also need explanation.

You will make more money doing alterations than sewing clothes, unless you can custom tailor clothes for people who are hard to fit. Advertising is expensive, so offer discounts to regular customers who refer new customers to you.Another options is to make craft items to sell at shows. Doll clothes small household items are popular. Your expense will be rental of a table to display your items, and a shelter for outdoor shows that don t provide one.

I d say definitely as long as you are careful and don t spend too much at the beginning.Take it slow and let the business build up. As far as I am aware there are not a lot of people offering a service like this. maybe people would appreciate somebody sewing their stuff instead of going out and buying new clothes ?
