Is starting a bid at $0.99 a good idea on ebay? -

if i sell something on ebay like an ipod nano 3rd generation, is starting a bid price at 99 cents a good idea? I see other people do it with tons of things and they get a lot of money but is there a good chance i will get a good amount of money

Yes it is,I sold my phone on there brand new, and i started it at 99c and on maybe the last 24hrs the price just went from $80 to $190. The phones R.R.P was $160.The reason to start it at 99c is that alot of people see it when they search for the certain product, and they may watch it or put in a maximum highestst bid eg $170.You will get your money s worth.
