When a bar closes for the night and the patrons leave,do the owner and employees have to leave also...? -

or can they stay as long as they want?

The owner can obviously stay as long as he wants, well actually he can t live there due to zoning laws, and probably health inspection codes, but granted it doesn t seem like he resides there he can stay. And as far as the employees that is really up to the owner.

Honestly, you can stay if you wanted, however laws about drinking come into play. If its past the legal time to sell alcohol, this applies to employees as well as patrons. So it comes down to what you want to do after the bar closes.

Of course, the employees and owners can t leave. They have to stay and clean up.
