Are you allowed to sell products on eBay before you physically have them? -

Would I be allowed to sell something on eBay that I do not have in my possession? For example, I found a website that I can buy products off of. I think i can make a profit if I sell them on eBay. Can I just start selling it and then if someone buys it then order the product and have it shipped to them?Does anyone know how this works?

Yes, if you are working with a drop shipping company, you won t have the product in your possession. With some of the wholesale sourcing networks, you can list products for sale, and you don t have to order the products from the wholesaler until your customer pays you for the product. At that time, you order from the wholesaler, and they ship directly to your customer. You can see a detailed video here on how this works:http://www.doba.com/how-dropshipping-wor

This website you speak of is a dropshipper. I have never met a succesful powerseller that uses a dropshipper. Most of them are notoriously bad. They ship late, don t have what you just sold in stock even though their website says they do, their prices, with shipping, are always more than what you can sell something for, etc. They make all the profit and you get all the headaches.

You can use dropshipping. in fact many powersellers do.http://ebaysellerreview.blogspot.com/There is a post on how to find stuff on my blog

not legally... though you can do it with all your intelligence :)
