What are the alternatives to shredding papers ? -

I have many documents to get rid of, i need the space, there is too much to shred, will dunking them in bleach work ?

You can make briquettes out of them. In the UK they sell a press for them. I involves soaking in water and adding something, then slopping the mixture in to the press. You can heat your house with the recycled wills/marriage licences/love letters/credit card statements etc.. It ll make you feel warm all over.

If you have a garden you could buy a dustbin size incinerator that doesn t cost too much. The ash can then be spread on the garden, especially where you don t want snails to eat plants.Don t try to burn the paper flat, but get each piece and screw it up. Then it will burn much easier and faster, so it won t take long to get rid off. Of course screwed up and not flat, it will take up more room, so you will not be able to put quite so much in, but you can always add more as it burns down. Have a bucket of water ready, check out the wind direction, and make sure you are not standing where the smoke will drift and most important - make sure non of your neighbours have washing out and you do it during the time allowed we have to do it evenings or weekend.I have had to do this a couple of times, but do try to shred as much as possible.

buy an argus incinerator the square one with big holes in it, as they are very efficient, shred enough paper to fill 4 or 5 carrier bags, (not cross chopped) use this as a base to get a good fire going, put some old wood on and when you have a hot base of burning wood, you can burn the rest of your documents with ease, it works better if there is a wind.

Burning should do it - although you may not be able to have a bonfire in/on your property. And you d have to cover the bin to stop burnt paper from blowing everywhere. You can hire companies who will come out to your house to do a big shredding job (UK).

Hi if you have a metal bucket you could burn them ,remembering to burn only a few at a time and keep some water near by in case of a flare up.

Getting Started with Mary Kay? -

My cousin is a Mary Kay rep and has been pretty sucessful with it. She has talked me into becoming a consultant. I am working on getting my first few parties set up so I will have money to buy the inventory. My biggest problem is that I don t have a clue how to get people interested in having parties. Most people have tried it or don t care. I think the best way to market would be to women in their twenties that haven t been too over exposed to MK yet. I just don t know how to start. I do not want to be pushy with people I do not know. Does anyone have advise?

Not sure of the proper terminology, but the person who s the next step up the pyramid should be advising you of sales techniques. My wife would go to places like salons, bridal boutiques, flower shops, and ask to put out a box for a drawing for a gift card from that place. People could put in their business cards or fill out a form to enter, and she would check it periodically. Those become your leads, and then you call those people to try to book parties. That s just one way to do it at least.

Whats the best way I could make extra income online if I have web development skills? -

I ve worked for 5yrs + in a web design development company. Now I ve quit and want a change. However, I d also like to put my skills to use by perhaps setting up an online site of some sort to generate extra income.Should I look at importing/selling? building link directories? any tips on good areas to look at? I m not afraid of work and have skills but don t know much when it comes to this side of things.. (have always developed or designed on behalf of clients)

I would say freelance sites, although these can be impossibly competitive due to cheap overseas labor. Craigslist is another good place to find work. Any sort of SEO and linkbuilding services are in high demand, especially if you can provide above average quality. It really could be a matter of what skills you specifically have and how well you are at getting clients. Here s one good freelance blog: http://freelanceswitch.com/

I make money online in my spare time using a site called CashCrate. It is a GPT (Get Paid To) site where you get paid to fill out surveys and complete free offers. You dont need a credit card and will never have to spend a dime. CashCrate is the most reliable and safest GPT site you will find on the internet. You wont get rich from cashcrate but you can earn about $50-$200/month on average. Below is the URL to my blog dedicated to cashcrate. In it is everything you need to know to get started as well as Proof that CashCrate Pays. If you are interested please check it out. p.s. If you have any questions you can email me at pronk48dh@yahoo.com

Selling crafts online, 14 years old? -

I would like to start a buisness... uhm, this will be kinda long.Finding a job has been really difficult and I can t find a single business in my area[walking distance, willing to walk up to 3 miles.. maybe more :/] that will hire a 14 year old. The youngest I ve seen is 15. I want to get some experience, and well, make some money. Obviously I can t get any experience so I m turning to my creative side.I have sold art online before, I m not looking to do that. Occasional I ll draw something up and sell it to virtual pet site owners but I ve been making small charms, cell phone charms and keychains and selling them to family and friends. They ve been a hit and I m wondering, is it legal for me, at 14, to sell them online on etsy or ebay, and if so, which is better?Concerning paypal, I use my mother s. It s under her name and all but I use it to receive the money and such. Thanks (:

I m not sure about Ebay but here is some info about Etsy. From the Etsy Selling FAQ: Can kids have Etsy shops? If you are under 18, you may use Etsy only with the permission and supervision of a responsible adult (parent or legal guardian). This is for legal reasons, not because we think kids or teens are any less creative or capable. Consider letting Junior have a special section in Mom or Dad s shop instead of having a store all to himself. I know when I started my shop, Etsy asked me for my credit card as verification so you will need to ask your mom/dad for that. Also, you can probably just use your mother s Paypal account and all the money will go in there.

If you are looking for home based business that earn you long term income, You must have look this program. It will make good income for you every months. You can get more info from bit,ly/56Lp2 (Please change , to . in the link)

Illegal to sell cut-up clothing online? -

So I learned how to cut tshirts and make them into a tanktop. Is it illegal to buy a shirt and cut up, then sell it online?Im looking at shirts with nothing on the front/no-brands.

It s not illegal as long as you don t claim to represent the brand that originally created the shirt. Just make it clear that you have altered the shirt and it was not manufactured that way.

Why would it be illegal? If you own the shirt, you can do whatever you want to it, and it s OK for you to sell your own property. You might run into copyright trouble if you try to do this with shirts that have copyrighted characters or logos on the front. Plain ones shouldn t be a problem.

Definitely more stupid than illegal. Far more stupid than illegal. That applys even if it was illegal.

No.. actually i ve no idea
