How do Farmers get earn money from corn? -

Here s the thing. I am working on a school project of exporting corn into Mexico. I am pretty certain that a farmer cannot export his own corn to Mexico but must use some sort of middle man service. Who is that middle man and does the middle man pay for the corn up front? My goal for the project is to export corn into Mexico, so I probably need to be the middle man. Ive been unsuccessful trying to find infInformation online. If someone can help me to understand the basics of how this process works, it would help a ton. Thanks
