Hi,One thing that pops up in my mind is, why not make a video CD of what you already do? What I mean is, you are a Massage Therapist. What is it you do? How is it done? Do you know of ways in which I can take care of myself to help me? What can I do to unstress myself? Can I give myself my own massage (not quite sure the right phrase but hope you know what I mean)?See what I m trying to say? You have a very unique skill so why not think about sitting down and write a bit about what you do know and are good at. Is it possible that people would pay to learn how to take care of themselves by YOU showing them a way to prevent mishaps? Many years ago I spent hours online teaching others how to print t-shirts, mousepads, etc... for free in the various forums and groups. On day someone said to me Why not sell what you know ? I said what do you mean ? Their answer was You are giving away valuable information for free. There are people who will pay for what you know, especially if it helps them print .Point made. I setup my video camera and using the camcorder, made videos that showed, step-by-step, how to print t-shirts, mousepads, coasters, ceramic tile, magnets, wall clocks, etc.... Been selling the video cd s on Ebay since 2003. Finally started my own online school offering both online courses plus the video cd s.Is it possible that you can sit down and write about what you know and how you may be able to relate this to massage customers you will never meet? Do they mostly have the same questions or body complaints or concerns?Maybe make a list of the most common ailments/questions and start writing about each one. Maybe get a dummy or relative/spouse, to be in the video where you show how yo do this or how they (the person who bought your video) can massage or fix this ache themself?I apologize for not using the right words but I hope you see what I m trying to say.Is it possible for you to put on a video CD, information that people need to make themselves feel better?Hope this inspires you.Fred
EBAY! buy and sell, people actually make livings off that. you get to stay inside your own house, in a chair and sell what ever you want for a profit. or work at McDonald s =) (that was a joke)
there s always Avon, Mary Kay and Tupperware
One of the best ways to make extra money and even be green at the same time is to go around frequently to your family members, friends, fellow school parents, and neighbors and collect as many used cell phones and ipods as possible and then visit: http://www.cellitused.com and sell the phones to this company. If you send them phones every week then you can probably make $400 + a month. It also looks good because are trying to help the environment as well. Most people just throw their used cell phones in a closet, drawer, or trash anyways. When I do it I send emails out to everyone I know and even go door to door in my neighborhood. Most people are more than willing to get rid of their old phones and electronics. Its worth a shot, it works for me as some extra spending money. Plus there is no risk involved. You can email the company and ask for suggestions or have them answer any of your questions.
I work from home with a 24 yr. old wellness company and I love it!!! This company is debt free and has grown tremendously over the years...and sales are projected to double in the next year or two! Plus, it has earned 2 awards with the BBB, something that was very comforting to me when I first started! It sounds like you are someone who is health consious, and I love the fact that this company offers natural, safe, and effective products. However, you do NOT sell the products, purchase inventory, or go door to door...nothing like that! Plus when you get started, you get a free website, ongoing training, and amazing support! I absolutely love the fact that I can help others reach their goals and dreams while helping myself, and make some extra money! There s potential to make really good income over time but you DO have to take some time to build your business (so not a get rich quick scheme!). I ve tried my fair share of home based businesses in the past, and this is the only one that is actually working! Plus, it s so simple, not all this extra paperwork, product stocking, etc! It s fun too! If you want more info, jot me a quick email and I ll get back to you ASAP! :-)
Since you are a massage therapist promoting wellness and beauty, why not try selling on the side. There is this one person in this online community that buys silver jewelry from Thailand and asks salon to display them to get sales. Maybe you can do that too.My wife is selling fashion jewelry pieces we order from the Philippines and she gets around 38% markup. We started ordering last May 2009 and we are waiting for our 7th order this week. I remember my wife s first order was $386.00. I was extremely worried about the money we sent out that I felt so relieved when we got the first package after 6 days. The items were so beautiful and not even one of my wife s customers were dissatisfied. We live here in Wisconsin by the way. There s nothing to lose, only to gain. You can check out her website and see if your friends and customers thru referrals are interested. I am not sure if her advertisement on USnetads.com is still there but that s where my wife found her website. You can check it out and ask for photos and pricelist if you are interested. Show her designs to your friends and managers and see what they have to say. The guy who posted his thoughts about making a video is also a good suggestion.Allan Leafhttp://www.theBeautyandtheBeads.multiply
