Do Avery magnet sheets work outside? -

I used an Avery Ink Jet Magnet Sheet for printing high school football team magnets for the car. I printed full sheet size. I put it on the car at 5:00PM last night and by noon today, it was laying on the ground. I picked it up and tried to re-stick it to the car, and it seems to have lost it s magnetic properties. Additionally, it curled at the edges, which didn t help it to stay stuck. I don t see anything in the product insert or at the Avery.com website that would indicate outdoor use is not recommended. I did spray the printed surface with an acrylic spray to prevent the design from running. Would welcome suggestions or other product recommendations.
