For forty you get everything you need, video support to help you, the best apps to make the website, blog, forums...I know people that spent days creating a free site only to find it gone one day. A free site wont get traffic, or make money.so why do it? Start off right for forty bucks.good luck

There aren t a lot of free sites left. Do a search for free web hosting . I think Tripod might still be around, maybe Crosswinds? Most should have a basic what-you-see-is-what-you-get editor so you can design a simple page on your own. (I miss the old Geocities before Yahoo ate it up.)
