I have placed items up for 7 days that got not bids until the last couple of days. And I ve put up 3 day auctions that did better than 7 day ones.Lot s of people think late Sunday is the best day to end an auction in the U.S. I ve been running eBay auctions for years and I actually have more luck with Monday evenings. I don t think it would be an infringement. Even a misspelt name (of English version) would be acceptable as long as you didn t provide the same goods and services as the original name. I have a friend who wants me to attend a meeting. I already have a full time job, but he says you can do this at night out of your house for 5-10hrs a week and make extra money. Understand that YOU will need to collect sales taxes keep meticulous records on this; as the tax board will expect you to pay yearly or quarterly. You do need to do some leg work on how you are going to track purchases sales, taxes, and pay yourself.

You need to keep a ledger (or cash book as they are more often called) for both businesses - you cannot get the two mixed up as they are different.You could head the sections on the income side: date, name of client/customer or item sold, whether cash or cheque, then total.On the expenditure side you need to make your headings: date, description, cheque no, total and then analyse across with headings such as purchases, materials, travel, packaging, - whatever works for the businesses. Total each collumn at the end of every month and reconcile to the bank accounts. Thsi will make it easier for your accountant at the end of the year.You need to keep all paperwork for all income and expenditure - invoices and recipts, paypal statements and bank statements.

I did a job for a client, sealing a roof of a storage place. Although I sealed it all , the water leaked somehow and the client says it is my fault. Around the roof there are kind of walls , which is all rotten, and I know the leak is from the walls down tot he floor. The walls were not part of my job, I have not sealed them , and they are all rotten. I did just the roof.I did not have any signed contract with him , did not give him any warranty. I know it is from the walls, I sealed it all properly and the walls need to be redone. It is a wood walls around it. But he says it is my responsibility.Can he sue me for that? He can sue the question is can he win. My guess is that without a written contract specifying exactly what you were doing and what your liability was he stands a good chance of winning. I know of a similar case where the contractor claimed he was hired to do one thing and the homeowner sued for damages due to something else. The customer claimed he hired the contractor to fix some leaks and the house still leaked when the contractor finished. The homeowner said he didn t have the expertise to know where the leak was coming from. If the house needed other repairs the contractor should have told him what needed to be done before starting the job. The judge ruled in the homeowners favor. The contractor did get paid for most of the work that was done because there was no dispute that the work was done properly.

I do not know all the facts here; but one that I do know is your children are your responsibility. If the camera was in a box and the kids were playing catch with it, I would have to agree with the employee. If it was a display model and they were taking pictures of each other; that would be alright-as long as they didn t get too wild and shared nicely.Honestly reflect on how the children behaved. If you feel that your children were not doing anything wrong, I think you reacted properly. If they were a bit naughty, you might be encouraging more bad behavior by not supporting the employee s position. Taxi royalty scheme ideas wanted!? -

Hi... i run a taxi business and would like to offer all my customers an incentive for booking our taxis online and re-using our services for future trips. Can someone give me ideas on what would be the best scheme to opt. Our prices are slighly higher than our competitors...but our service is (in my opinion) far better. our new website will (still under devlopment) let our customer book online...keep a track and view of all their bookings in past....and make payments online..... i want to add a incentive scheme..so they carry on using our web interface to book their taxi. Please suggest ideas or inform me of any existing schemes if known. I have a loyalty card idea....but not sure how i can award the points...i mean what to base their points on...etc thanks in advance for your ideas.

Honestly, I m not sure what you mean by scheme. Why not just offer something simple, like 5 or 10% off if they book online? I rented a motor scooter on vacation once, and got 10% off since I booked it online.

Not necessarily, but as long as they don t provide shipping info or something, you should be OK. Have you escalated it at this point? Getting a refund is a 2 step process, so make sure you escalate the claim. Otherwise just keep tabs on it in case Paypal requires further info.
