no question, no signed contract. too bad for him.bf
Yes you do. If you have a copy doesn t matter if you signed it. It s still a contract. In remodeling projects it rare that you don t run into unforeseen costs. When they are found the contractor should come to you and discuss them right away before he proceeds. Were your existing shingles discontinued? Was he picking the color as close as possible to your existing? Lumps and leaks, you might have to get a professional roofing contractor to give you an estimate to correct the problem. If all this is under $5000.00 in most states you can go through small claims court, no attorneys. Either way he is going to claim you owe him $1650.00 and you will have to show your claim for what it takes to correct the problems and the judge will decide the outcome.Good LuckJim
Coley, you re instincts are correct that you can take advantage of social networking sites to build your business without hiring a consultant. The beauty of these tools is that they are free (at least for now) and work best when used by real people who are using them to connect with other like-minded real people. Here are a few ideas to get you started. FacebookStart a fan page. This article by Katie Hellmuth Martin will walk you through how it s done: http://thatitgirl.blogspot.com/2008/04/hSpread the word about your Facebook page. Talk about your new page at every opportunity. Include it as part of your email signature. Link to it on your company s website. Send out an online newsletter to your customer list announcing the new page, perhaps offering a coupon or some other promotion to those who visit and do something like leave a comment on your Facebook wall. Tell all your personal friends on Facebook about your business s new page and invite them to become fans. Encourage people to share your content. Consider posting things your fans might want to share on their walls; each time that happens, it will send more visitors back to your page. I posted a slideshow on the world s ugliest buildings from Travel + Leisure s page on my Facebook wall because it was amusing. That s just the kind of thing that gets people talking and going to check out the rest of Travel + Leisure s page.Make it useful or fun to visit your page. If you sell gourmet foods, offer recipes on the page. If you sell athletic gear, post advice about fitness and nutrition. Better yet, create a program for people wanting to monitor their diet or exercise routine; they ll need to return to the page every time they update it. If you re an interior designer, publish before and after shots of rooms you ve furnished. Make it interactive by asking people to vote on ideas to complete a room. You get the idea.TwitterAt first, using Twitter feels a lot like talking into a empty room. But if you use Twitter properly, you will soon be having conversations with customers, potential customers, the media and all kinds of people that can be helpful to your business. This guide for Twitter - http://business.twitter.com/twitter101 - written for the company by Twitter expert Sarah Milstein (co-author of The Twitter Book), gives way smarter advice than I could ever give you. Pay particular attention to the case studies and the best practices. One thing about social media -- people using it love to give and read advice about ways to do it better. Start reading blogs like Mashable.com and Ducttapemarketing.com, and follow industry leaders like Chris Brogan (www.chrisbrogan.com).

If you are selling baking goods comment in recipes that you have tried or like, or offer one. Try news or forum comment sections, even word press articles have comment sections you can nutrally advertize your business while offering nice to know information. You can put your website link or business name in your comment. Don t go over board on advertising for it could be spamed. You see my link is in my profile here on yahoo answers and I did not add it here in these paragraphs. so I can just help give information I know for free while getting back links to my business site and costumers to my location offering on a neutral basis. Free yet helpful to attract the right people who want what you offer. Try it!
By offering your customers a free item or having an excellent marketing plan. Remember there are many women in your area selling Avon so you have to be unique and a step ahead of the rest.
u are really too young for business. but i appreciate ur interest in business. u must not do any thing as ur friends doing so i must also have to compete them. just do for urself and ur success. u are too young so u have to learn more so u have visit more webs and have to discuss with ur friend and senoir persons.http://www.ebusiness-centre.com/
You are not too young. I was 14 when I started my business.. but I didn t do what you want to do. I made a vacation website.Click on the link below. (It is the link to a page on my website. Once you re there, scroll to the bottom of the page where it says Make Your Knowledge Sell and click on that button. It will take you to a page where you can learn everything you want to know about program)http://www.magical-hawaii.com/Help-me-goThis program has an e commerce option... so you can sell stuff.. but there are so many other ways to make money with this program too. I know a person who used this program and is now making almost $1000 a month, just from google adds on their homepage! It is safe to say that if you start now, and you really work on it, this could be your main source of income when you are an adult. The instructions are very thorough and take you through all the steps. You really don t have to know a thing about computers to be sucessful with this program - it explains everything you need to know. You will need your parents to help you a little bit, to get it started. Technically, you are suppose to be 18.. so what I did, and what many other people have done, was have it in our parents names until we turned 18. (with their permission of course. Show your parents the link, and the information about this website program. Get them excited! - and I really do think it will get them excited because there are so many success stories. It is very obviously not a get rich quick scam, but rather a build a successful and longlasting business plan )If you have your heart set on selling clothes, than just sell off of ebay. (but you have to be 18 to do that too.) With just about any busness kind of thing you try to do, you will have the same probelem.. your age.I know I didn t exactly answer your question, but I wanted to tell you about this because I was once in your shoes. Haha, In fact I probably once came up with that same brilliant idea of selling clothes online! But I ve found that what I am doing now is much better. Trust me, making a website this way will be MUCH easier than trying to sell clothes online. It gets hard, dealing with orders and live customers - especially when your a teen and have school and other things to worry about. But if you make a website this way, (as long as you work on it) you are guarenteed to succeed and make money. After all, think of how many places there are online already to buy clothes. You have a lot of competetion to beat out before you can hope to make any profit. PLUS - unless you do ebay, you will probably have to pay to advertise for your business just so you have people coming and looking at your clothes. If you decide to make a website like I did, you can make a site about whatever you want. And instead of working with your friends and then dividing the profits, you can all have your own sites about something you each enjoy, and support each other and motivate each other. You will all earn a lot more that way... and you may find it to be a bit addicting. I really enjoy working on my site - and it definitley beats going to a regular job, saying paper or plastic. Anyway, I highly recommend you look into this. Goodluck with whatever you decide to do!
Why would you want help from the government to help build your church? I ask this not to be sarcastic or to pick on anyone of faith, but I m wondering why you d even want the government involved in something that they re pretty much trying to stifle every year that goes by. Our church started as a Bible study in a home, then as it grew, moved to a small town hall (renting it with some of the money from the offering plate). A certain portion was set aside every month towards either buying an empty building or building a new facility. It took a few years, buy we raised enough to buy an empty building. And now, we ve bought another building (we out-grew the old one), and are remodeling it. We ve always paid cash, depending on the Lord for everything. This leaves us debt-free, and able to do other things in our community that other churches (who own huge mortgages) are not able to do. When you re debt-free, you have more freedom, and only answer to the Lord for direction, not the bank or the government. I leave with you this Scripture verse to consider...not to make myself seem more learned than you, but to guide you enrich your vision: I planted the seed, Apollos watered the plants, but God made you grow. It s not the one who plants or the one who waters who is at the center of this process but God, Who makes things grow. Planting and watering are menial servant jobs at minimum wages. What makes them worth doing is the God we are serving. You happen to be God s field in which we are working. Or, to put it another way, you are God s house. Using the gift God gave me as a good architect, I designed blueprints: Apollos is putting up the walls. Let each carpenter who comes on the job take care to build on the foundation! Remember, there is only one foundation, the one already laid: Jesus Christ. 1 Corinthians 3:6-11, from The Message. I wish you much success in your desire to carry on God s work in your community, as you prayerfully consider your next step. *)))
Maybe you could sell seedlings in milk carton halves. Just buy an entire packet of seeds...sunflower, native plant, which ever, and then sell them once they start to sprout.
hand out flyers to people and/or post them up in stores, restaurants etc. or craigslist
Advertise it on Business s for sale.com. I sold mine through that site. You could ask for offers and see what people are prepared to pay.
go there and find out - probably nothing else under $40
This also happened to me and the only thing that saved me was that it was also bought on a credit card. Contact them as soon as you can as I think there is a limited time period to do something.
When you are late paying AVON there is a 5.00 late charge. You will also be put on credit hold when you turn in your next campaign order if you still have not paid. I would contact customer service and explain your predicament. I am sure they will be able to help you.
You have to put it in writing. Send your landlord a letter (NOT email) stating the problems and that you expect to have them fixed within a reasonable amount of time (which is up to a month). Keep a copy of this letter for legal purposes. If he does not respond within 30 days, go down to your town hall or city hall or wherever the city administration building is, and find the suitable office to complain to. It s against the law for your landlord to not fix something that s causing private nuisance and is so bad that it s against health code and building code. If not, take it to court. Most commercial tenancy cases in court do not require lawyers of any kind, just a small $100 or so processing fee for court. You will get to present your case, slumlord will be required to appear, etc. Be sure to have pictures to show the court. He is legally liable and responsible for the structural upkeep of the place and to ensure that it doesn t affect health code.
No you don t need it. But some employers like to see students report cards to make sure that work isn t interfering with school. And your parents could make you cut back on your hours if your grades start slipping.
yes, you need to be able to maintain your grades and pass all of your classes or your employer will cut the amount of hour you work.
NO. They ll give you one either way.
No, but it helps A LOT. for minors it s almost a must i m sure.
1. Step 1 Write effectively for eHow.com. This one may seem obvious, but take a closer look at the previous sentence - there s an emphasis on effectively. If you make the effort to learn from the eHow experiences of experts you ll save yourself a tremendous amount of time and dramatically increase your earnings. 2. Step 2 Design t-shirts. CafePress is a company that will allow you to submit t-shirt designs (funny phrases, pictures, etc.) at no cost to you and if a t-shirt design of yours sells you ll receive a portion of that sale. A perfect no overhead business for creative people. (A link to this website is provided in the Resources Section.) 3. Step 3 Blog about something that interests you. This is completely free and can be both a work at home revenue stream and a fun creative outlet or way to keep in touch with friends. Setting up a blog is extremely easy today. If you can manage an email account (or an eHow.com account) then you can manage a Blogger (Google s blog service) account. Once your blog is up and running apply for Google AdSense to monetize your blog without having to sell a product. 4. Step 4 Sell tickets. Reselling tickets for sporting events and concerts can be a fun and profitable business that you can run out of your house. Thanks to websites like Stubhub.com and eBay you can now sell tickets for events all over the country. Visit PresaleToday.com to find out in advance when popular events are taking place and also find valuable presale passwords for free. 5. Step 5 Sell books. Amazon.com is a great place to sell used books that you already have at your house, find at a yard sale, or find any number of other ways. When I was a college student I found that professors had tremendous amounts of unused textbooks that were free for the taking. Redistributing books online is a great way to share knowledge in a way that s most affordable for the purchaser and profitable for the seller. 6. Step 6 Sell your photos. Visit Big Stock Photo where you submit photos (or artwork) for other people to buy/download. When your pictures are purchased you split a portion of the sale with Big Stock Photo. You can make between 50 cents and $3.00 per download.

You cannot own a name like Bob, Bill, John, and other common worldwide names and real names. You can do a copyright off a novel if the name is the title, but it ll be limited.best right is trademark when you own a business. But that only protects you from business infligment of name, not the use itself because freedom of information act covers some people from using other people s work, ideas, invention, etc.So in short, you can never fully own something.Just like wal-mart. There s many DBAs that rip that name, but change it a bit to avoid inflingement.
Atleast DPharma is must, some ppl also open stores on other s names using their Dparma certificates and license and pay monthly charges for it , but it is illegal

You can sell like old antiques you have... or gently used baby stuff and toys.... or you can make stuff if your creative.... there s a site called cafepress.com where you can design pictures, logos, anything, and put them on anything! (Like shirts, mugs, hats, etc...) its really fun, and you can open up your own shop...!
Stick with eBay - they are the best and most organized. Look for drop ship companies and they you are only doing the advertising. Or look around your town and see if there are any manufacturers that would sell to you at wholesale prices. Watch your fees with eBay, be sure to include them in your expenses - they will creep up.

Depending on the product or service you are planning on offering you can always have a site do a survey on your site. I recommend WEW Research because they can offer you a package that will send visitors to your site and you can even get a review about your consumers views on your site or product. This information is invaluable. E-mail them and I m pretty sure they can work something out with you!
Well it starts with a product or service that is top-notch quality. Do some research to see what the best-selling products or services are out there. Also, you would want to do a checklist of all the products or services which you would be interested in selling. Then you need to do further research to see if those particular products or services have a ready market (people who want to buy them). Then you need to figure out your start-up costs, expenses and profit margin.Good Luck and I do sincerely hope that your get your business of the ground in the not too distant future.
If you haven t done the research, perhaps you should not have started the business. We don t know your area, we don t know your clientele, we don t know ANYTHING. And you expect us to give you ideas that are useful? You may as well ask a Martian... if there are any out there. ---Kasey C, PC guru since Apple II daysChange is inevitable, except from a vending machine.
I don t mean for this to sound rude, just being honest with you. If you don t even know what you will be selling it would be impossible for you to have a complete business plan. Go back to the drawing board.
uh yeah..I ll think of that answer and than start a business for ya
yes. It is better if u have knowledge regarding any kind of business u plan to get into. Or u must have someone who has expert knowledge so that u can get into business by employing that person and who will be with u as long as possible for u to learn from them. I would also suggest that u get in touch with people who actually run beauty parlour......i mean run and not work in , so that u will get to know what all u need to know. There are also a lot of companies who do business analysis whom u can approach before initiating. Those companies can give u an expert opinion on where to start and which way to go by studying ur competitors for u at a reasonable cost. Hope u don t find my suggestions way too ideal to be practical since u r a starter

Pure opinion on my part but I would say that you are fine. If you were selling the cake pans or overlays of the images then that would be a different story but just showing and selling the cakes should be fine. Also, if you bought the overlays then they would be covered under some copyright agreement between that company and Disney.Besides, if you re violating a copyright law, then about a million other people are doing exactly the same thing. Just do a google search for Disney character cakes and you ll see thousands of sites doing the same thing. Disney obviously doesn t sell cakes on the local level so I doubt that they care. Good luck with your business.
Start with a photo studio.
First, I am glad I don t bid on your site. I have many 100s of bids in my record and not one other seller has ever demanded payment within 24 hours. Second, if you have it listed as payment is due within 24 hours and you did not get it, then you need to email the winning bidder and inform them that since they have not done as the bidding instructions said, you are cancelling their bid so they will not be getting the item. Then you notify the person who had the 2nd place bid and tell them that the winning bidder defaulted so if they want the item they can have it for their last bid. If you want to be sure every base is covered, contact ebay and tell them you want to cancel the transaction on that item with the one who did not pay on time. You don t have to give a reason. They will contact the highest bidder and tell them that you want to cancel and then they will have a chance to agree or disagree and give their reason for not paying. This just happened to me but it turned out that Paypal hadn t notified the seller of the payment I had made so she thought I didn t make it. We were able to straighten it out when I could provide the transaction numbers.
You can try a completely free home based online business.
A lapdesk for using laptops in bed that is STURDY and highly adjustable....there is nothing on the market that meets both these requirements! It should be sturdy and large enough to hold teh biggest and heaviest laptops. Try looking at whats available on amazon.com-you see what is out there and how you can improve them (sturdy wood or metal (NOT PLASTIC) construction! Even some have sturdy wood but PLASTIC hinges that break. People who are bedbound could really use these products and there are plently of people who prefer working in bed than at a desk too!GOOD luck!
Are you seriously asking for a bunch of strngers to do your job for you. Because if that is the case then you seriously should not be working in that job.
That is a wonderful question! I hope someone answers this!
Yes if they are owned by the same company, which I m pretty sure they are, they will all go bankrupt. Remember Chapter 11 bankruptcy doesn t mean they are out of business, just that they must restructure. Regardless of what happens, it is already obvious that bondholders are about to trade debt for equity, which will happen regardless. The problem I see, is YRC has a huge network which is losing revenue and volume at a much faster pace than the rest of the industry. Most of the non union carriers are still profitable, and have lost much less revenue. YRC is losing so much volume so fast, it is going to be very difficult for them to right size the company to a profitable level. Especially with the long term union contracts I m sure they have. At the current level of revenue, they would probably have to get rid of 30%-40% of the company to be profitable. As they continue to get negative exposure and lose market share, it is going to be tough to get that back. Even in good times freight companies make very slim profit margins. YRC has got some serious problems in the near future.

The registration fee is for the year. You need to get hosting. Most hosts offer a free domain name.I recommend one of these http://www.webhostingtable.comFatcow has the best offer right now.Their standard price is $88/yearbut they have the 50% sale right now.Disk space: UnlimitedBandwidth: UnlimitedA Free domain nameUnlimited domains and subdomainsPrice: $44/yearThey re one of the oldest hosting companies, founded 1998, they re also one of the largest, currently hosting about 500,000 websites.Their hosting plan includes a web builder, so you can create your site just by drag and drop (without any programming), or you could install Wordpress (easy, one click install from their control panel), choose a theme that you like, and start adding content.
You can get a website + domain from http://www.visionhost.info for about $70 per yearYou will need also a good web software, I recommend http://www.easywebeditor.com is around $80, this is a one time fee. It s very good. Technicians prefer Dreamweaver, but I find Easywebeditor powerful and more adapt to my (very limited) knowledges
Domain name can be bought for as low as US $10 per year. There is actually no fixed price. You hunt for bargains and good hosts.Search on the internet. Generally all the services are offered at a single point.Cost depends on many things like - web space requirement, bandwidth requirement, database needs, email ids etc.Simple website with a couple of static pages can be done for as low as US $25 including domain name registration and hosting.
Creating website is like a art, Yes you can create a website with your own hands or you can hire a designer for it, a website will cost you in two parts.1) Domain It will Cost you yearly from $15.2) Web host It is very important it is cost monthly, depending on your data used on your website, it is start from $10 to till your wish. It will maintain your website and make online on all search engines.3) You can even use website development software which will cost you only for one time. So, If you want how to create a website perfectly go to my site it will give you total details.
Jeff,Good questions!Websites can be created pretty cheap these days. As some of the other people have answered, GoDaddy.com is a great place to get domains. You can usually get your own .com name from GoDaddy.com for $7.49 per year. The next step after you get a domain name is to get a hosting account. A hosting account is basically a computer that you rent per month that will host or hold your site and all of its files. Hosting usually starts around $5 per month.Once you get these two steps done you are ready to create a website. You can do this very easily with solutions like WordPress which is absolutely free and can be quite professional. WordPress can also be used for a variety of different applications like personal blogs, business websites, membership websites, and even for selling things. If you would like to go through a Free Tutorial that walks you through all of these things step by step, check out my site at http://sceptermarketing.com/free-training/Hope this helps!-MattPS Feel free to message me if you have any more questions.

When there are multiple owners of a business it s normal to write up an agreement describing how the partnership will work. You don t need one if you re a sole trader. If you mean how to write a business plan then this may be helpful: http://www.google.com/#hl=en q=How+to+wr
There is no answer. It depends upon the pawn shop.IT depends on whether or not the individual pawn shop owner thinks that they will be able to resell them and what they could resell them for if they did. If they think they will only sell for one dollar, they only give you about 20 cents each on average. They have to sell it for higher than they paid you and then make profit on top of that.I DISAGREE that pawn shops rip off people. They are a business in business to make money. They are designed for people who are quite deparate to get rid of their stuff and if you aren t desparate, don t sell your stuff there.
They don t really have any resell value, I d be surprised if they gave you anything at all.
1 word = ebay.
dude if you got some originals just sell them on E-Bay and list em as vintage ****. people will def buy them for more than a pawn shop will. pawn shops rip off everyone..
I doubt they re worth anything, certainly not 20 bucks.
Hey, I recently found this website: http://www.cashmoneycash.wsEverything is free, including your very own website to promote. I signed up around 4-5 weeks ago and I am now making around 80 a week. This amount is growing as the weeks go by, so I am really excited about this. The videos on the sign up process will explain everything. All it takes is about an hour a day, doing really easy things. If you want to read more about it, you can read my review:http://onlinebusinessreviews101.blogspot.com/
ok so theres this website i never kinda beleived till my fiance was like adding me onto it.. its like pay to click.. for each click u make u get paid $10usd So thats cool right.. im currently nearly 2grands... and its like only when u have $5000 u can take all that cash out.. and so many ppl have done it. sooo if u wnat it .. its called ptr. umm its alot better if u jus email me.. and i can kinda add u onto it.. and year no spams or scams.. its really true what they say.
shut the sight down and lock him out and tell him it s just until the middle of november adding when I get paid . I mean there is no contract, he can not make you open it back up and you won t be burning any bridges.
I would have an attorney draft a letter demanding payment. In most cases, people will do just about anything to avoid having to deal with lawyers.
It is seen generally everywhere. Son does not like the profession or business of father. He thinks that he is special and he would do something special. Some times it happens in time and he get job or opportunity to move ahead. but not every time and for every person. Soon or later, time give a lesson to him he have to think to join the old hands of his father and help him and learn from his experience. Some times joining to his father gives a great strength to his father. Energy of boy and experience of father when joins then it works wonderfully. Ultimately you have to think by your heart, what to do according to your circumstances. May god help you for right choice.
dude, why work for someone else when you can be your own boss?it s time you help your dad out of this.you are still young. you can do whatever you want later. you don t have to sacrifice your entire life, right? why did your business come down? competition or mismanagement?identify new products that you can make with your existing setup.it s not easy to do, but it is not impossible either, THINK OUT OF THE BOX
Business sense, quick rolling of stocks, avoid credit sales as far as practicable and develop business relationship.
How will your business be organized? will you be a sole proprietorship? you will probably need a contracting license
great,so what is your question?
If you send me a message I can put you in touch with the person who deals with all our telecoms issues. He knows whether it s possible to get back numbers. There are conditions around getting a number back that he can tell you about.
Personally, I prefer a restaurant. Why? Less items to stock, basically, more movement of stuff, and thus, more flexible to changing demands, and more ways to be creative. But you ll need to write a business plan for both to see which is more in tune with your interests, talents, and the bank s desires for a loan.
if you go with a restaurant, plan on working around the clock just about. You have to deal with alot more employees. There are so many occupational hazards it s mind boggling!I have been in the restaurant business for more than 20 years, and I would never own one knowing what I know.Unless your food is outstanding, the chances of making it are minimal.Go for the convenience store.
Focus on what you love to do and what you know best. If your parents really like cooking and love to serve people, a restaurant might be the best option. However, many a great cook has opened their own restaurant and had it fail. It is one of the most frequent businesses to fail. The key is to do market research and check out the competition before selecting a location.
You have to do research.1) location is key (easy access, parking, lighting ans signs)2) who is your target market?3) how much competition?4) how will you be different and better than the competition? In the U.S. Restaurants are doing bad because an economy that is down means less people eating out.
Restaurants are one of the riskiest businesses you can go into. Take a long hard look at doing that. You need someone with experience to help, if you go that route.
I would go with convenience store. The restaurant business is a very difficult one and usually fail within the first year.
restuarant makes more money but is more risky :)
where?i want to come!umm... getting the money would be hard... cos of investment being quite low etc... umm... loans and stuff are an option, but if u fail, u ll be in debt big time!i assume u ve thought of all that though.to get bands to play there u ll need to just surf through myspace pages etc finding metal bands within a certain distance of ur venue and then contact them and see from there. i m sure loads of young up and coming bands will oblige!to open ur venue u ll need to raise awareness through an advertising campaign... use a lot of word of mouth and post it on facebook and myspace etc as a group/event whatever!the one problem is that u ll need a way to stop all these crazy metalheads getting out of hand! i suggest more than one room, obvious i suppose.but u ll need rooms for everything... bands, equipment, coats (haha!), drinks... etc etcumm... or why not have this venue outdoors, like with a stage etc, so its like a gig every night (infact, thats a pretty cool slogan!) have a sheltered part too. i find lock-up tents are pretty hectic when the metal is pumping! have different themed nights etc (thats all obvious stuff...)free water (everywhere), sell alcohol (obviously) and consider any legal highs u can!setting up a mosh pit place... umm... there ll be some legal thing with that for sure... like, dont encourage it cos its dangerous and all that bullshit... so u could either let it happen, or just have raised platforms around the edges of ur venue so the moshing can go on down between them, like an actual pit! but just like the standing section really! but people will want to get down there to get close to the bands and stuff!dont have seats on all of ur raised bits, just a few on some more remote ones, for the chill and rest and DRINK! haha!and if u can get a venue going that can do all that stuff and still play METAL a lot, u will get some serious interest! but i d consider opening up to other types of music, seriously, cos otherwise u wont get loads of business! so theme nights, like metal, drum and bass, dance, whatever and standard club nights etc... but keep it hectic! no soft, chilled music! u want ur place to be known for its hardcore atmosphere, its non-stop sweat party, etc. definately get the hoses and foam etc...u ll basically just need to come up with a very good pitch and business sceme to put to investors and/or banks etc and really work out where and/or IF there is a good interest for this!i think it d be sick! and now i dont want to post this cos i like my ideas too much! but hey, i aint got no money either!
metal is a scourge to society...i dont wish people ill will like EVER, but i hope you fail in this...i know you will, thats all metal is, failing at life, making others fail, trying to be stronger but being fueled by negativity and then wondering why your life sucks...youre a joke...you know nothing about music, i killed myself to be the best shredder and i dont even like to play guitar anymore cuz metal almost ruined my life...youre a joke
You have to use all the tools life has given and investigate any way to get a loan or a small business loan. Work out a deal with your bank. Raise money. Whatever it takes. As far as getting bands to play you could ask around or look up your local metal bands. Those bands always know other bands through networking and trust me their always looking for a place to play. If you keep busy and make lots of friends you could make it happen. There are not enough heavy metal venues anyways! Good luck!
I don t know, there s many companies out there that could help you.But I know many people that would love a place like this! Very good of you to think of the idea.Gotta keep in touch with me and tell me how it all goes :P
nnnnn
Try selling candy at school... that s what I did for extra money when I was around that age.
Given that you know that you cannot make legal contracts without a parent consent and signature. And that you have so much to learn about business, deadlines, the whole field of graphic design and the requirements of the customer you will be serving. I say good luck but expect a tough go of it.There are many books and online information by doing a search. That is what my son does for everything. I have no specific web sites for learning web design. Or other graphics careers.
Sorry I could not be more help. It is a career that is packed full of people and so there is so much competition for work. Businesses are cutting back on spending and do so much in house. A professor said to me that artists are a dime a dozen and he was right. You must get an education first. Report Abuse
Through that education you will develop the talents you have and build the contacts necessary to start your career. If there is one tip I can offer is always meet your deadline and commitments. Report Abuse
To be honest love you may want to try and gain a little more experience. your only very young and probably have a lot more to learn
UPS doesn t like the brown paper. It s best to put it in a box.
yes
Stay put. You re not an entrepreneur. Hey I m not bashing you but your question frames the obvious. You re highly educated in accounting and business but don t know the first thing about creating a start up. Hate to break it to you but it s not in your blood. Also for the record and from experience I can tell you that the fastest way to run a company into the ground is when a finance guy is put at the helm. I ve seen dozens of companies tank because of this. Accountants are not risk takers. They live in the ledger and make decisions based on saving money, cutting costs, etc. They don t have grand visions or make bold gestures in business. They never say hey, sales are lagging to let s hire more people, spend more on promotion and revamp marketing . They do the opposite which kills the company. Then they elude blame. It s always baffled and amused me in the corporate world. Don t shoot the messenger here. I m actually doing you a favor.
Have you considered Scentsy? For $99, they give you everything you need to get started. It s a great company and I m having a good time with it.Good luck! I hope you find something that works well for you.Lisa
I would suggest you to join online forums on how to make money online. You ll get more ideas on how most of them make money and save yourself from the trouble of guessing which program is legitimate and is going to be profitable by the end of the day.You need to ask yourself and find out what you re good at so that you can develop something from your passion. If you love golf, then you might want to start a blog about how to play golf and place some contextual advertisements on it so that you can make money when someone buy from your blog or website.I might not answer your question but that s what I do to earn several thousand dollars online. Good luck to you.
If you don t have a lot of business experience and don t have products already in mind to market or sell, probably the best way to get started is as an independent distributor/rep marketing products for a company. The company already has the products, marketing materials, website and training available to help you get started. It usually requires some upfront cost, but there are many companies that will help you get started with an initial supply of products to show people and use yourself (so you can talk about the products knowledgeably from your personal experience), marketing materials like a catalog and a company website for online sales. There are no get rich quick schemes that work. It takes time and effort to build a customer base. It can be a little overwhelming to choose, so here are some things you might want to consider:1. Pick products that you personally like and will use - it makes it easier to talk to other people about them, plus you will usually also get a good discount which helps your budget if you would be buying similar products anyway!2. Pick products that are consumable and most people buy several times a year to help build a large customer base with repeat sales.3. Research the company carefully. It s better to get involved with something that is growing and doesn t have too many reps, but is on solid financial footing. 4. Look at the compensation plan. Is it easy to understand? What is your profit margin? Sometimes companies that offer free or low start-up costs pay a low commission/profit percentage.5. Are there monthly or quarterly sales/purchase quotas? Will you be comfortable with that amount? For some people it is a motivation while for others it becomes a burden,6. What are the marketing methods allowed? Are you required to market through home parties or do you have the freedom to market the way that works for you? Make sure that the approved company marketing methods will fit what you want to do.7. Watch the market trends. Right now there is increasing interest is in green, natural products made in the USA from renewable resources.8. Is there good training and support provided by the company and your sponsor? This will really help you get off to a good start.Feel free to contact me if you would like some ideas or more information.
Hi,First you would need a web host. A business will really not work on a free site. So you get a web host. This will cost about $40. This gives you your domain name, unlimited space, tools and apps to create your website, and support to get you going.Once you have your host, you create your website.I suggest Wordpress to create the site, because its easy and produces beautiful websites. Now as far as the money. Whatever kind of site you make, you can make money from it.You can start with adsense from Google. You put small Google ads on your site, and if people click them, you make money. You can also put other ads for products and services and make money if anyone buys from your links.Check out Clickbank.comThats just a few ideas to get you going. First get a web host and make your site. Its easier than you think.
There is a business you can start today that doesn t involve even having your own website.Ebay was one of the best decisions I made in my life, in fact, as soon as I get done sending this answer, I m going to go make more money with ebay sourcing products and making money using my Ebay Cash King Method.I taught family and friends how to do it, so now I m showing the public for a limited time.Seriously, if your talking about little overhead, INSTANT traffic, and people already ready to buy...your walking into a goldmine, and in my free report below I go into a LOT of detail on how to do make money using ebay with no website of your own
Well my sister is a Independent Business Owner. She loves her career and I know its helped her financial struggle. She is now debt free because of her decision to join this company. If youd like to visit her website you can go to www.freedomathometeam.com/CPearsonHope that helps and I hope you find what your looking for and what will work for you!!! Good Luck, Stacy
this is the best resource on the internet:http://www.netbreakthroughs.com/index.cfm?affID=laura3231
go there and find out - probably nothing else under $40
Of course you can!The key for you is to find someone who can manufacture them for you. Check out: http://www.wearlane.com/shopshirt.html - College students. You need a concept and an approach to good design. You need a hook that will move the shirts. YOU DO NOT need to manufacture them. Check out http://www.broken-arrow.com/ as an example. I don t know the best ones but I did a search and this company is an example. You can get an online quote for a number of shirts, choose the material, kind of process (Silkscreen embroider, etc) the colors etc and then upload your design. You get the shirts and resell em. It s about that easy except that it s all about people wanting your design.Anyway, yes you can do it. Given your questions, though, I d STRONGLY suggest before you start that you look around campus to see if there s a business club for people wanting to do their own businesses, or something in the community. You need to be able to understand how to design, promote and operate an on-line presence before you get much further. It s not hard but you could use some time with people who have done it to get their advice first hand as Answers won t help that much. If you can t find anybody, then go to the business school at your college and start asking professors! You ll find someone, I guarantee it.Hope that helps.
CafePress.com has an excellent program that can help you out. $5/month. Seriously. They re the biggest on the net when it comes to t-shirts. They even started running tv ads recently. If your designs are more than just a slogan or scree-printing, then the previous answer is a good one.
Re list the item, report him to ebay and forget about himTell ebay customer service what happened, should be able to get a return of fees

In order to use a bank account with Paypal, it must be verified. Paypal verifies the bank account by depositing two small amounts into the bank account which are required later in the verification process. Check your bank statement online or through the mail. Once you receive your bank statement with the two amounts deposited by Paypal, enter the amounts into the verification form in your Paypal account to prove that you own the bank account. Once you have proved that you own the bank account, you can now pay people with Paypal using your bank account. You can also deposit money into your bank account if you receive funds through Paypal.Hope this helps.
The two small deposits are in your Paypal account and they do that to make sure the account is valid and it belongs to you. You can get the two amounts on the phone with the automated menu but it might be a couple of days to post to your bank account. It is only a few cents each one. You are just opening a Paypal account?
They take money out of your account without doing anything. Usually if your account is new they take out $1.00 out of your account to test if it exists then they put the $1.00 back into your account. When you purchase items off of eBay they will debit the money out of your bank account.
I d first get proper paper from the local office supply store. Also you don t want the text all the way to the edge - close but not quite there because it ll look unprofessional and cheap. Look at other business cards and note the spacing, this is what you should strive for. Good luck!
Are you using business card paper? I use www.avery.com They have templates which make it real easy.
Bet him if he can play the f note with his fart
Sorry. The first rule of Fight Club is, you do not talk about Fight Club.
Don t accept checks, just do cash or money order, people can stop payment on checks. Are the bracelets $200 each? If so most people want pay that much for something that is not from a store. They want to be able to return it, and sounds like they can t with you.Good luck in the business. Why not try going to small jewelry stores and see if they will consign some for you.
You are pretty clueless about buying habits. The conversion rate on the internet for this types of purchases (people who convert a desire into a purchase) is typically about 1.5%. That means that for every 100 people who look, 1.5 people will buy.Take into consideration that your product is expensive, you are selling very hocky (who would buy from flyers posted at an apt) and you only take cash/mo so it s not easy to purchase - your conversion rate is going to be a LOT lower than the statistics. You would be lucky to get 1:500 or more.
I think you are going to need LOTS of luck with this. I can t imagine anyone buying a $200 bracelet or ANY item for that amount of money...from a flyer or email.I m sure the bracelet is nice, but unless you live in a very wealthy section of Houston, I don t think this is going to happen for you. I hope you haven t already paid for these things yourself.
1. I would not buy from anyone I didn t know who wouldn t take a check or credit card, and didn t have a business name, address, and phone.2. I wouldn t buy anything that cost more than $19.95 from a flyer.Try posting it on ebay, and sign up with PayPal.
Yahoo Answers isn t doing it. Probably some jerk who got jealous of you or is being spiteful for some reason. I really don t know of any way you can remove it from Google.
check out www.athomeopps.com they have a bunch of different work at home opportunities.

Meals on wheels. If you already have a car, this makes the most sense. OR: this is what I would have thought of. The idea is called Dial a Buddy . For $12, an elderly person can talk to you face to face for a half-hour. $20 per hour. Most elderly people don t have anyone to talk to and they ll appreciate it a lot if they can talk your ear off. Good luck.
I personally run an online business. It doesn t need big start up cost. You can manage your business from home, and you don t have to spend more than 4 hours work per day. Here is my website where you can see more information.

A small business loan is one of the most treasured commodities in the business world. It is still very hard to get despite the claims and promises of banks, credit unions and other lending institutions that they want to help American small business to survive and grow. In fact it sometimes seems that banks and other lenders want to see small businesses fail and only support those that survive the battle for customers, revenues, and finances during their first two years.http://www.worldbestloans.com/Getting a small business loan is most difficult during these first two years, when most businesses face a myriad of challenges involved with not only opening their doors, but hiring and training staff and meeting the demands of customers, clients suppliers and vendors. The main reason that the banks use for not granting many loans during this period is like the same reason that a student cant get a job coming out of school. They dont have the experience.
If you have read the papers lately, you will know that loans are harder and harder to get from banks and credit unions. These institutions require assets and/or history to reduce their risks. A business start up is a liability and your personal credit history is at risk if things fail. Banks don t want to own businesses or be at risk for bankruptcy actions so they are fearful. Seriously, wouldn t you be? You may have better luck finding money through venture capitalists that specialize in business startups or you can try an appeal to groups like prosper.com for private funding. Do you have a business plan? If not, that should be your first step no matter where you go for financial help. Have you contacted the professionals at SBA or Score for advice and guidance??? You have a few things to get done before you start haphazardly applying for loans and credit. Do you have your own personal finances in order? Have you seen your credit reports/scores??? Borrowing money isn t always the answer to starting a business when you have no equity to offer. Can you say no money down mortgage? ... You can probably get the financing you need but you have to be able to prove your credit worthiness not only to a financial lender but to yourself. If you can t make out a realistic budget on paper (business plan), you probably won t be able to make it in the real world. Plan your work and work your plan!!!

A staff of a cleaning business could be classified as good if he possesses the following qualities: dependable, honest, and conscientious to details, admirable of clients and the rooms of their clients. Most importantly, a cleaning staff must love his occupation. There are several instances wherein your employees are just working in order for them to get quick cash. A cleaner that neglects his job could lead you into losing several contracts. This may cause a problem in your business. It is certainly important for you to look for potential employees for your cleaning business that can surely spell out the success for your cleaning business. For more guidelines, advice and information: http://www.startcleaningservice.com/Hope this helps!
Staff reliability depends on office discipline, staff should do only office work, no politics, and they should perform their given task, if anybody fails to perform his/ her duty kicked him/ her off the duty and from the company no need keep such stupid who is undermining the company procedure and its set up. There should not be delayed in payment of their wages, timely salary payment and timely delivery of required services are the basic and core issue of every business. if it is maintained by the employer then there should not be problem. Advertise your business and services regularly, specify the cleaning services which you want to sell/ market, run promotion on different cleaning aspects, like office cleaning, house cleaning. furniture cleaning, home services, school and colleges, some adhoc offer, a full and complete package should be advertised into the different news papers, attend the call, be polite always and do the service in time, such maintenance will keep your Company active and you will get a place into the market in terms of reliability and quality.make uniform of your staff, should be presentable, keep all local authority requirement updated, no illegal deals etc. An special incentive if any staff doing well so that other may encourage and motivate, such appreciation and acknowledgment will increase efficiency among staff members to work honestly instead to involve in politics.
Pay a little more, run your business like a business and hire a better caliber of people. Make your expectations clear when you hire them. Punctuality, etc. Have a (almost) zero tolerance policy.
use reliable workers and stay with what you earn without going into debt and let it gradually grow.

Basically you can just use excel sheet to record the inventory but you shall update it if any in or out of the parts. At the same time, listed down the safety stock to remind you to avoid out of stock.By the way, you shall find the root cause why your inventory get messed up or you will face the problem again. Depending on what you paid on the shipping. The quickest packages come is one business day. If you paid less on shipping, it could be 14 business days before it shows up.
Have you checked their web site? http://www.whsmith.co.uk ? If they don t have it, no one will.
How about running a competition in your area through your local newspapers, or with local secondary schools/colleges etc to get all the locals to come up with a name. That way you get free PR in the local newspapers, school/college newsletters etc both announcing the competition in the first place and then announcing the winner, perhaps with a photo of you handing the competition winner their prize (which doesn t have to be expensive - how about an MP3 player for a tenner?) and if you get photographed with the winning name/logo being held up too then it gets it in front of people right from the start. then once they start to see your business up and running they will already be familiar with the logo/name etc and your business will have instant credibility. This is just an idea - adapt it at will! This will not only get you a name for the business but also promote it and let people know you are out there.Good luck with the new business. Rebecca
If you are in the UK you will need planning permission for a home based business if you are trying to get people to call at your house. It is due to the problems that your neighbours could experience from additional traffic and car parking. Also there is a question of health and safety issues for your work place. Tread carefully as fines can be high.

Go to http://www.ripoffreport.com and http://www.bbb.org (Better Business Bureau) to see if there are any complaints against this site. Also, see http://www.iwanttosellstuff.com for legitimate wholesale sources.
Hi Gor. I have dealt with megagoods.com now for almost 5 years and I have never had a problem with it. I also work with dozens of other wholesalers and manufacturers. its military time. 12 pm is 1200 hours... and so on 1 pm is 1300, 2pm is 1400 and so on. their are 24 hrs in a day so that is how military time goes by. your dad is right. its not complicated once you get used to using the military time standards...
Your dad is correct, and it is military time. You just subtract 4 from the number. Military time is 24 hours instead of house normal clocks/time is split into 2 twelve hour blocks of time am/pm.
your dad is right. in a 24h system 13:00 is 1pm 14:00 is 2pm and soand 24:00 is midnight
ok 20:00= 4 hours before midnight. figure it out
Since the non-cash asset value is over four times the total liabilities all but $10,000 of the cash can be distributed to the partners. The $70,000 should be distributed in the same proportion as the capital of each of the partners 30% each to Canton and Garr and 40% to Yulls).Hope this helpsJerry-the-bookkeeper
Good question. It s a question that many people in the music business for years have been asking themselves too. I would avoid any business that is tied to the sale of masters (the actual recordings). If you can raise some money there is still money in music publishing because there are more synchronization opportunities than ever before (placing music in film, tv etc) but there are also more people vying for those placements than ever before. There is still money in touring and music merchandise (tee shirts, keychains etc) so that makes starting a music merch company possible and or being a club promoter / booking agent etc workable. There is also a never ending group of musicians who need help getting their music heard and placed but this group tends not to have the deepest pockets.Forgive me that wasn t much of an answer but will hopefully give you something to think about.Very best of luck,Rick
opening a record shop. there s one near me that could do so well, but its on a tiny street so no one even knows it exists. i only know of it because i happened to get lost when i was trying to find the tattoo parlour (which i never did find lol). anyway, lots of people still collect them and they can sell for a lot o money. so i would definatly recommend that. then you could expand the business by having a tattoo and piercing parlour out back. or have a cafe within the shop thats music themed. or you could turn the upstairs into a small music venue. something like that.help with my business plan please?? its on my questions on my profile. i cant post links lol :):)
