I just graduated from Veterinary Technician School a few months ago and have been working at a clinic and LOVE it. I am also a nanny and have many years of childcare/daycare experience. Does anyone know of a way to start a business/organization where I could do presentations with animals to school-aged children on how to care for their pets (Ex: Dental care, nutrition, grooming, vaccines, being responsible, etc.) . No.But you can fool people, a very good trick i came accross while at school is.. Wait until no one is arround then switch off or unplug the machine you want somthing from. The light will turn off but somtimes people just dont notice. They will stupidly put there money into the machine while its switched off, press the button for a drink or whatever they want. Nothing will happen. They will either leave it, Or go ask some one for help or there money back, as they go to find the person switch it back on. Then you can either press the button to get ur money back and you can have a free ��1 or you can choose a drink of your choice :) Wont even need the two 5 cent peices. Just make sure you get it quick then leave. I did it once but everyone just left it when they lost there money, In the end like 6 people had done it, I walked over turned it on and all the drinks they had chosen fell out, was stocked up for the rest of the week :) for free! 13 is a good age to babysit. many American Red Cross locations give a class that certifies you and teaches you what you need to know. this class goes into some basic first aid and things like that. most of the time at your age babysitting would be just watching the children and maybe taking them to the park (if it isn t far away) and possibly giving them dinner. most parents are very good at giving new babysitter all the information that the will need. i would suggest putting an ad in the paper after taking the class at the local ARC you will most definitely find a job.

You say you are a veterinary technician/assistant, so I m assuming that you are not a credentialed veterinary technician. (There is a difference is those two titles) Therefore if you went the degree route (which I would say is actually the best option as a bachelors degree is going to look much better on your resume and give you other options for what to do while you look for that management position) you would need to enroll in an AVMA accredited veterinary technology degree program and earn you Associates degree and then work towards your bachelor s degree focusing on practice management. St. Petersburg College offers this bachelor s degree program and there is even a special scholarship for people who are following the management track. I am going to go to college in about 2 years. I was thinking of going into buisness. What classes would i have to take in college and how many years to i have to go to college? Accounting is a good profession which pays well and will ALWAYS be in demand. Look into that. I never became a CPA or anything, I just worked (at home) doing bookkeeping for small businesses. I charged $40 - $50 per hour. Pretty lucrative. If you go all the way to become a CPA, they charge like $150 per hour.

Quickbooks is fine but my accountant uses Peachtree Acounting software. Most all the CPA s she knows use it over Quickbooks. I have Peachtree here on my computer and it is easy for my accountant when I pass on a disc to her. It would never hurt to take a course in basic accounting to help you direct your business. Probably Accounting 101 and Marketing 101. Any introductory business course -even Business Law 101 would give you a great start in business. If you decide to use an accountant find what they would like for you to use.Good luck.

It is what it means, if you buy a 10,000 machine, you expense that machine right away. When you make 10,000 on a sale, you report that income and deduct your expenses. Now, I think the limit to write off a single piece or series of pieces of equipment is around 100k this year, it will be near that. If you really want software ie your going to be so busy you can t just do this in a spreadsheet, look at quick books - you can get it at best buy. Check both Royal Mail s and Parcel Force s sites. Parcelforce offer collection services, which I think are free. Not sure if you have to pay if Royal Mail collects. Why do employers always get penalised in every way? -

I have an employee at the moment who has been very rude in how she addresses me on two occassions. I know exactly what you are talking about, I had the same problems with a member of staff and had to go through all the procedures of writing letters and meetings. it s a lengthy process and takes time but you have to do it by rules ( employment law ) and it can be very frustrating but if you don t do it right they can take you to an employment tribunal and you will lose which will result in a fine and compensation. stick to the procedure as laid out in your disciplinary manual supplied by UK government. and you will be able to terminate their employment with no problems.as for the pains you are experiencing in your chest this can be caused by the all the stress you have to put up with in dealing with this problem and lack of sleep, you didn t mention your age but as with any chest pains go see your doctor and get it checked out.and i make you right the employer is penalised in every way it seems like there is a new law forced on employers every few months, well that s a labour government for you.I sympathise with you, it s hard enough running a business today without having to through all this hassle in your work place, good luck.

IF this camera is only for the boutique, then I don t think you will need anything to big or expensive. The Canon XS should do justice with the canon 50mm lens. Canons 50mm lenses is inexpensive, is better quality then the kit lens and the extra low f-stops might come in handy giving you a more professional look and feel.

The site you refer to (self help) is the vendor I think you want the publisher (manufacturer) or printer. This is such a generic item - you might try to find a comparable item at your local stationary store or learning center . A solution made of stems of wild ladyfinger, locally called sukhlai (Abelmoschus spp.), is used in clarification. The sukhlai is crushed and put in water. Polymers from the stems make the water sticky. A can full of this sticky solution is added to the boiling sugarcane juice, it makes the impurities in the juice rise up and they are ladled off.At this stage, chemicals get into the process to give the gur its preferred golden hue. A spoon each of sodium hydrosulphite (hydro) and sodium formaldehyde sulphoxylate (papri) and a capful of castor oil are added to the boiling syrup.
